Frank Holton & Co. C-150 • no. 659532 • 1998

Holton continued to make the C150 until fairly recently, although at some point they modified the design somewhat. In these photos, the late-model C-150 is on the left, compared to my 1971 model on the right. I find it very interesting that the design would change so much on such a small-production model. The primary difference would seem to be a rearward shift in the position of the valve cluster.

earlier design proportions

At some date after 1982 the design changed, with the valve cluster shifting rearward.
